Default Too Big?

i wanna do 4.10 gears and 3600 stall.. TOO BIG? i wanna get a big cam by xmas and k and n and a ls6 intake......so i will have power down the road but for now all i have is long tubes and off road y pipe and a summit cat back(wanna get gibson super truck) so what do you all think to big for a 4.8?

3" exhaust.... until you get a big cam 3600 might not be too good for ya.... 4.10 is good but i got 3.73 and is pretty good for pickup, and decent rpm at 70-80 mph cruise.... i really dont think you will be happy with 4.10s granted they are great... but with gas prices the way they are... you can probably go 3.73 and be plenty happy
