Default Long tube cat install

I am installing Pacesetters with there y-pipe and I want to see what options I have for installing cats. I know this will require welding, but what have you guys done? take stock cats and run them? buy aftermarket high flows?
I would like to keep it legal if possible, so working cats would be good, I wont do the work just for "show" with gutted cats.
Point me to a place that sells them that will work if thats the way to go.
Thanks

you could straight pipe the stock cats... and just delete your O2's... I know plenty of people re-use their stock cats when they go with LT's, magnaflow cats are VERY nice... kinda spendy though.

I saw some magnaflows for 60 on ebay...thats not too bad considering the OEM piping and cats is 700 from the dealer.
I just wana get some decent cats, not some cans with crap in them.

I would highly suggest the 8" magnaflows. They are a little expensive, but depending on the crossmember that you have, they are well worth the money to get teh cats out of the way of the crossmember. I'm getting those to replace the cob job I put on there with the stock cats.

Here are some pictures of the setup with the stock cats (first few pictures). http://home.nycap.rr.com/agreif/Truck/

just delete the after cat o2s. you need the before cats to run efficiently.
