Default Timing cover

I have a 2007 GMC VortecMax 6.0L that I'm changing cam, timing gears and chain...the gear was a single bolt but is now a 3 bolt solid gear...do I have to change the timing cover due to difference in sensor position?

You need to buy the correct cam gear that is still a 4x.

The timing cover stays the same.

It is the gear set that goes with the new cam from Summit...

If the gear is a 4x 3 bolt cam gear, then you can use it.

Otherwise a 1x cam gear won't work in a GEN 4 motor because the cam sensor won't work with it.

Summit sells a million different cam combo's, so I have no idea what you bought.
