I have a question on a time chain upgrade on my friends truck. He has a Lq 4 and he wants to upgrade on to a double roller timing chain and he was woundering on what else he would need to install the timing chain? Like a aftermarket timing chain cover or maybe something else?

 

save your money and get an ls2 chain and reuse the stock gears
