slow...how does the 224 idle in the 6.0L? Is it a little choppy? I'm going to try to get a sound clip of mine--it hits a little harder than other tr224's that I've heard.

Yeah, TR is definitely one of the best companies I've delt with here. Their order to ship time is VERY quick, and they email out tracking numbers when thing are shipped.

It seems to me these TR220/224 cams are working well for the guys with lightweight RCSB 2wd trucks.

I just want to say though, be carefull about getting caught up in the HP numbers over 6,000rpm if you spend a lot of time on the street or use your truck "as a truck". Strong peak numbers become a tradeoff after a certain point.

I very much agree with mark_w. my truck is a single cab short bed and i dont haul much other than *** with my truck. If your into towing alot this isnt your cam. numbers on the cam were 76.3hp gain and 69ft lbs over stock internals motor. milage on my truck was 37,750 when i got it back

Sorry Scream, just saw this post. It hits pretty hard at idle. The only thing is I'm still having alittle trouble backing it up. It really wants to drop below idle when I go to stop in reverse. Other than that, I really love the cam. I'm going to get someone at Thunder to hook me up with a sound clip to post on here. I'm also going to get someone to get me a clip of it idling with the cutouts open. It sounds like a beast!
