Throttlebody bypass

It re routes the coolant so it doesnt go thru the tb so you get a cooler intake charge. All thats involved is re routing the coolant hose and plugging the lines going into the tb.

Here's a link to ls1howto.com I believe the write up is for an f-body, but it's basically the same thing.

...you may want to be aware in winter after shut down condensate will form and if parked long enough it will freeze. The newer motors have a tilted TB to avoid this also. You may want to run it in winter.

I agree with therock, it got down to 40ish the other night after my truck sat in my driveway for a longass time, when i left home at 6am when the sun was just starting to comeout, i would have to mash the throttle a couple of times after i initially started it up because it had the tendency to stick shut. Kinda sucks, but it takes like 5minutes to bypass and 5 minutes to undo the bypass so when late fall/winter comes just switch it back.

on sticking tb. 40* should not be cold enough to form ice, maybe just a good cleaning will take care of it ??
