Default throttle follow

does anyone know how to solve this problem,because i think its very annoying when i let of the gas and it keeps going not to mention wearing out the brakes.i like the holdback but it takes about 5 seconds before it holds anything at all

what mods have you done? need more info.

the only time i have heard of what you are talking about is when the hole in the TB plate is drilled out to large and the only reason to drill it is when tuning for a big cam.

just hpp3 and k&n.i thought maybe the manual had something to do with it.for example in a parking lot or in traffic in 1st gear ill let off and the thing just keeps going have to come down on the brakes and not only stop the momentum of the truck but slow down the motor. most of the time i just pop it out of gear and hit the brakes

so it's probably not a problem caused by mods, no warrenty?

check your intake pipeing for leaks and look for a vacume leak. just a couple of ideas.

Intake leak, faulty IAC motor, something like that. Your getting too much air in and the IAC cant compensate, so you have the cruise control effect.

still under warranty,dealer says thats the way its supposed to be?ive noticed that all trucks do it to a certain extent but mine seems more severe.makes it almost imposable to shift without the clutch (lazy)
