Default throttle body spacers

So really, what's the deal with these things??? They work, they don't work. It's a waste of money, it's a great value. Can anyone shed some light on this topic? I keep reading 'experts' saying that it is situation dependent. So again, even the so called experts can't give a conclusive answer to the question. I have a friend who thinks the one he got is great and definitely working. However he has a Titan. I have an 07 silverado 4.8. Will it work for me???? I think that is the real question! Any input fellas?

It may have had some effect on older TBI engines, but with todays technology, you'll get absolutely nothing. Save your pennies for something more useful

I had the power tower on my Silverado 4.8 and I felt a very small gain in the 3500+ range. I think it made more noise then HP. I would take another one if it was given to me, But I wouldn't pay for another one.

I'll sell you the power tower that came on my truck for $20 + shipping if you want to decide for yourself. It is for a 3 bolt TB. Don't know if that will work on an 07 or not.

Get it if you want to waste $20-30 bucks, and see for yourself. All it does for the newer trucks is make an annoying whistle sound from under the hood.
