Hey,

Does anyone know anything about Helix Throttle Body Spacers, and how well they improve performance and mileage on a 4.8 liter Silverado (are there any better brands)? Also, does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions on other mods for mileage improvement?

 

I hear that they don't do anything. Tbs just add a whistle sound and that's about it. As for things for fuel economy you should get, Ls1 fans, regular maintenace, CAI, Exhaust, and a tune. I think there's more you can do for fuel eceomony.

 

They work better as a paperweight

 

Yea, no mileage improvement and the whistle is pretty annoying

 

I think they only thing TB Spacers are good for is mounting nozzles for NOS
