Question for you guys. I saw where somebody over on Chevytruckworld.com posted that on rpmoutlet.com you could buy a intake, throttle body spacer and programmer for $499 that they say, and prove with dyno charts, to give +35 hp and +42 lb ft. of torque on a 2003 5.3L Silverado when all used together. My question is, I have a K&N FIPK 2 and Superchips programmer, 2 out of the 3 in the set up they sell, would buying a Throttle body spacer to put on in conjunction with my intake and programmer be worth it. Especially if I could get one on ebay for a good deal??? And what kind is a brand that you guys know of???
And for that matter, how about a throttle body bypass?? That's only like $9.

I have a helix TB spacer on the old grocery getter, but all it really does is make an amusing noise. Just a little FYI, the K&N kit will not work with the spacer without some altercations (unless you have e-fans.)

don't bother buying anything for the throttle body bypass when you can do it for free. just take the line off the pass. side of the throttle body, then remove the short peice from the driver side to the crossover tube and stick the hose that was on the pass side on the cross over tube, done and FREE... I'll take half of what I saved you for a tip
