mine is slow as well. Hell you can watch it on hptuners how long it takes before anything happens compared to when i actually floor it. Almost a second from floored to it actually starting to go.

Hate to break it to ya'll but even if you change it in the PCM it's still gonna open slow, it's built into the tac module, 06's got screwed, trust me i know. you have to change to an 03 PCM, Tac Module, and pedal assembly and that will help things

it's like built in torque managment, it's worse if the engine is under load like coming out of the hole in brake stall

I hope that helps....
thanks atleast i know partly why now

Whats a TAC module? and is it just 06s that go screwed or what? because D_reks{5.3} is one of the 05s i looked at and his is fast as hell open and close, if thats the case could i get a 05 TB and change the numbers in the PCM to those of the 05?

sorry to bring up an old thread, but i have a 07nnbs, and i know mine has that horrible issue of opening slow, and feeling delayed.

wheatley tuned mine up, and we got rid of ALOT of that "slowness" and delay, but its still present.

I just want to know how to get the TAC to open faster, or if theres a way to change the TB and TAC. Someone, somewhere, had to do it. I have searched and read about this, and i havent come accross it yet..

any suggestions??

you would think some one would make a TAC that open s quicker.. how about the TAC on the vette of the G8... if you swaped throttle bodies and tac i wonder if it would be quicker
