Default Throttle body and intake questions

I pulled the throttle body and CAI intake assembly off yesterday to clean up and to wrap the chrome metal K&N the PO installed along with Efans and other mods. My question is I have a 402 with Dart heads being built to go in, and the intake I have is the 2000 model with EGR. Should I have the throttle body ported and block off the EGR? Or buy a new intake TBSS or Pro Flo and buy a 90 mm throttle body? I'm not interested in peak numbers but numbers through the curve down low and midrange. So if the Pro Flo is a mid to upper only scratch that. Another option would be a non EGR manifold from an 04+ vehicle. Thanks
