Yes. GM does a lot of things at a cost per gain ratio because of bean counters. We could have had 30 MPG V8 vehicles ten years ago if GM could have made money at it. GM isn't perfect, and that leaves room for the aftermarket industry...

To be honest, I don't know what it will gain. I've had only one stock vehicle test a ported throttle body and that was an SVT Contour 2.5L 5 speed. It gained 2-3 HP/TQ across the entire RPM band, and 8-9 HP/TQ at peak. That hardly compares to what we're looking at here, which is why I jumped on your challenge. If these vehicles aren't going to show any gain, I don't want to spend $125 a month on advertising the ported throttle bodies for them, LOL!

Default Hey!

I can attest to the ported TB on the SVT Contours. I'm still very active over at the Contour Enthusiast Group site. This is a fairly popular mod for the SVTs, as well as other models. I've heard nothing but good things about porting the TB from the guys on the site.

I am sure I could pull something together to make that happen. I am only questioning the HP gains, not the flow numbers.....Granted the two go hand in hand, the HP numbers are what counts IMO.
