These are awsome for the price. Great sound with the magnaflow exhaust on my truck. also great sound when there open headers no porblems get'em installed just gotta watch the back bolts on the old shorties. Great gain! on my 4.8

they are basically long tubes. they are a try-y header.

 

yeah like he said its like a long tube and the tri y deal is great for performance and sound on my truck i cant wait till i get the cut out on it now..

 

do they have a try y design for a 5.3 ext cab
