Thinking of purchasing pacesetter long tubes with the Y.. and installing the electric cutout Exhaust Cutout | Exhaust Bypass ... leaving my stock pipe coming out the back and just switching to cut out when needed.. thoughts on this setup?!

 

Been running like that for years do it... Get a QTP cutout tho those cheap ones will break in no time. Never had any issues with QTP. I have ran a DMH but the o ring in them dry out and start leaking and rattling. QTP cutouts so far have zero issues with going on 2 years and seal up perfect.

 

Been over a year w my summit 3 inch cut out. Even buffalo winter and salt. Works great

 

Def will listen to you, read thru some of your build pages.. Truck is a beast!

 

where are you placing the cutouts?

 

Good question, how did you guys set your cutout up?! Also I'm going to need high flow cat correct?!

 

Ive had QTP, DMH, and Race Ready. The QTP literally broke in half. The DMH rattled like crazy after a while, and the race ready now rattles slightly. My point is they will all wear out eventually, but so far I have been most pleased with the race ready one, especially their customer support.

I have heard QTP has updated their design but I havent tried one of those.
