Default Those who are using a resonator on their corsa come in

I did some searching and it seems the bullets are popular but I want to use a round case stainless magnaflow to go with the rest of my stainless exhaust. I want something that is going to tame to sport down some. I love the sound but I hate the crackle during part throttle acceleration and I dont want every cop in the county coming after me when I get on it. Im going to go with the 20" length muffler but what diameter would be best? I would guess the 7" will knock down the most noise correct? There is a choice between 4,5,6 and 7" diameteres. Also when you added in the resonator did it start to drone any? I really love how quiet it is at cruise and I dont want to lose that.

I have your headers and cat-less y-pipe installed and added a Magnaflow 6 inch bullet at the same time, not sure on length, and it is quieter at cruise then with stock manifolds and a weld in Magnaflow muffler. I think you would be very happy with the 6" size. It still screams at WOT. If I could ever get my sound clip uploaded I would let you hear it, but I haven't been able to do it so far.

eh, heres my LTs, corsa touring and a 12" casing 3" i/o bullet in front of the corsa. still has pop in it (can hear in the video) but it doesnt have any drone at all. still quiet on the inside while cruising.

as long as its going through that corsa muffler i dont think youll ever have any drone. i have the longest 3" bullet they make with LT's and ory and get zero rasp and zero popping. i had a stainless borla muffler on there before and it cut it down too much for me. i think borla is quieter than magnaflow if your looking to cut down the racket.

Cody if you want the resonator I was using I'll give it to you, just give me like $10 for shipping. It's a stainless Magnaflow like 20" long I think and maybe 5 or 6" diameter. If you're interested I'll check the dimensions exactly.

Hey man,
I don't know if you've seen this yet, but,
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...highlight=rasp

This worked well for me.

You'll still get a little rasp at certain rpm, but a lot less people will in traffic .

Beware though, when you're at a light idling, you won't be able to hear your own truck next to the guy with the dual flows .

WOT still sounds great.

Oh yeah, No drone.
It does get a little loud in the highway if you're pulling a heavy trailer.
But nothing even close to a magnaflow cat back drone. Just loud exhaust sound.

Moddoo, when I posted this the search was going hay-wire as usual, I knew I had seen a thread about this topic.

Chris, PM sent.
