Yeah, that's very interesting, isn't it? From what I can tell (and keep in mind these aren't complete dyno results since the shaft blew out), it looks like I gained 15 RWHP and a little more torque with this cam, doesn't seem like that would be enought to kill a stock driveline....dyno.

Be glad it happed there and not on the highway.

I would look into a place called Wenco here in the SFV. They did mine on the last truck. Another thing you need to remember is if you truck is lowered the pinion angle could have been off. This will casue a vibration that will kill a drive shaft.

wow your running rich as hell. That is whats making all that TQ. You could gain some HP with it a little leaner.

Yes, I am glad it didn't happen on the highway. I'm also happy it didn't happen at CA Speedway in Fontana...that would have been a long tow home.

I'm only lowered 2/3, not slammed 3/5 or anything like that. Do you think the pinion angle could be far enough off from that little of a drop?

I agree, I've been looking for a local tuner but no real luck so far. The torque number they're putting up on the dyno site is actually just shift spike. It's really only making about 375 or so RWTQ.

I needed to re set the pinion angle after the 4 inch drop.....I am sure it is the same for a 3.

Hmm, I wonder who does that kind of work.

It is easy, you can do it in your garage. More than likely if you call the company that sold you the drop kit they will have degree wedges available.

Alright, I'll check. Do both front and back need to be adjusted, or just one?
