Those with TOG headers, I have some questions...
#1
1. Any install problems? Are they an easy/med/hard install?
2. Any cases where the header melted plug wires?
3. Install time?
From what I've read on a supercharged 6.0 engine the TOG's are worth anywhere from 15-20hp compared to say edelbrock shorties being worth anwhere from 5-10hp.
I'm interested in getting a set of CARB headers that will not pose new problems, (i.e. melted plug wires)
thanks all

Install was fine....great clearance, easy job. I got mine coated as well....very nice job....looks real puuuuurdy! Just put them in on Friday and my truck is way out of tune. I just completed a 6.0 swap with cam + the headers....so I cant tell whether they've gained me or not.
I am just concerned that they are not true-tuned headers, and for $800, they should be!

Look at the last 2 pics.
The second time around the install took me about 2 hours. THe easiest thing to do is to cut the Y-pipe about 2 inches in front of the cats. Take the manifolds out from the top. On the drivers side you will have to pull the steering column apart and push it out of the way and move some of the wires over too. On the passenger side one, it pretty much slides right into place. I put them in from the top, and kinda slide them in while twisting them a little. I would say for a header install, they went pretty easy.
I would be sure to have them coated though. You will notice a big difference with them coated. Otherwise they won't retain enough heat to keep the o2's hot so you will run rich and may throw codes about the front o2's.

I forget what you call it, but the primaries are different size pipe so that they don't have to be equal length. The different size tubes supposedly makes up for the difference in length in the primaries.
I noticed a big difference when I put them on my relativly stock 5.3.
