Default ? for those with boost/vacuum gauges

How much vacuum do you see at idle? I finally put my gauge in and i'm seeing roughly 18 inches of mercury of vacuum at idle in park and 22 inches of mercury in drive at a stop. The 22 maxes out the gauge, so I was wondering if this is the same as what ya'll are seeing. Later everyone.

You are close to what to what I am at. I run 14 to 16 at idle and 18 when in gear. I have a 02 Silverado 6.0l.

Cool, thanks for the help, I just thought it was odd to be maxing out the gauge, but I guess they made it that way for a reason.

I usually run 12 - 14 at idle. It will only get down to 20 inches on a decel.
