Pacesetter's are the way to go unless money is no object...basically they all do the same thing...especially on a more or less stock truck. More thought should be put into something like John's setup but he's running a boosted 6.0. on a stock 5.3 it's not going to make any difference for a DD truck. Get yourself a tune and the pacesetter's for the same price as a set of stainless works or ASM lt's.
If so i agree, for most applications you wont need the biggest best flowing headers.
mangled03gmc is speculated to be making 500++ hasnt been verified still a fresh setup

If you are still up in the air, give JET HOT a call, they offer a life time warranty on there coated headers, I do believe, still are cheaper then stainless..

hmm, that sucks. I think a good coating on the Pacesetters will cost at least $250. That puts you in the $700-800 range....might want to look into a used set of Dynatech's for that price.
