Default Thinking about a supercharger, what kind of times can I expect?

I'm thinking about trading in my WS6 on a new 1500 ext. cab 4x4. If I swapped my procharger over to the truck, any ideas on what it might run at the track? I'm figuring on about 475 RWHP. Thanks.

With just the blower? Not a chance. You're going to need a full exhaust, injectors, tuning, cam, and heads to get close to those numbers.

You may wanna drop Black Blown 02 a line... he runs the Procharger as does Texas Terminator.

Also... I believe the brackets are different for the F-bod ATIs vs the Truck.

Dont know about the brackets.

Stock truck at 9psi, you'd probably pull 360 rwhp.

Full exhaust, 42lbers, tuning, 12psi, You'd probably make it to 425-450.

For decent track times you'd need a 3500+ stall.

Stock 4x4 truck with P1SC and single two-chamber flowmaster exhaust I got 352 rwhp & 348 rwft-lbs of torque. The bigger injectors and tune made a good difference, but I never got it dynoed with those.

When I said supercharger, I was including injectors, etc, and tuning. Are these truck motors really that much weaker than the ls1 in my car. I thought the 5.3L was 300 horse stock. My WS6 is about 500 rwhp on 9 lbs, headers, and nothing else, stock internals and heads. Why would the truck be 100+ horse less? Thanks for the info.

BOOSTAT4500...

The 5.3L is "rated" at 285hp, but I raise a HUGE BS flag on that. They are so sluggish due to tuning I'd lay some money that if you dyno'd one of those on an engine stand, it'd make maybe 240hp IMO. My truck was such a turd before the tune.

Your T/A has a larger motor, more compression, and such.

I'd just sell that Procharger setup and build you a budget ~408" stroker for about $3500 and toss that in the truck.
