Default Thinking about No2 with the procharger

well i have pondering the idea of using a small shot of the Juices to compliment the Procharger
I was wondering how large a shot i could safely run. I'm seeing about 8psi with the charger now.
What systems are out there that would work good for my application.
Is it possible to get a controller to shoot n02 at lets say 1000rpms and then off at 4000rpm lets say ? or am i dreaming up something that doesn't exist ?
with a good tunes think the engine will stay together ?
Any input would be much help
thanks guys
jim

Yes, that controller is called a window switch. The MSD one has removable "pills" Mine is set for come on at 3000 and off at 6000. You may want to ask this question in the nitrous section too.

sounds like you just want to use it to get you out of the hole, how about a converter? i think it would do what you are looking for and no bottles to fill.

i am thinking about a 50shot or so but plan on running it thru the whole run. anyone know what would be the best place to inject it? wet or dry? looking for the most cooling effect.

It is dangerous to shoot the juise at low rpm. NOS recommends the engine to be at least 2500 before the cold.

since you have a stall aren't you under 4k for only a second or so? i say spray the whole run, a window switch is still a good idea you just set it to shut off above your shift points and below yor rev limiter. saves your engine incase of some kind of driveline failure.

no idea how well your engine well take it and i guess that was your question, i say try it start with something like a 30shot and go up from there, then let us know when it blows so we know when to stop <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> i bet that engine can handle a 50shot.

Something to try before you spray your truck is to spray your intercooler. Some of the turbo import guys spray nitrous onto the cooler to bring the air temp way down. The are getting a bigger gain out of their systems. It is a tube with holes in it the fastens around the intercooler. This might be a option that sould give you a gain and also if it is not enough you can always put it to the motor. You can buy the kit in some of the import magazines...

i heard that NX makes something called the
"N-tercooler" model #NX-20000 i heard that it cools the charge i just wondering where and how this things interfaces i could put it to be most effective? it'll just be good for the summer months it gets cold up here in toronto september should be around the 40's i hope. I haven't even had the truck out to the track this year.
Isn't even running these days wating for a part from flexalite so i have no cooling fans ..

The truck is back and is stronger. Im installing a converter this week and having my tranny guy build it up a little. Also a bigger tranny cooler is going to be installed. The tranny is the weakest link on my truck. If your truck does not have a cooler on the front of the radiator and you do any performance driving you are asking for problems. I have seen a 50 degree difference in non external cooler trannies compared to trannies with coolers. There is a lot of guys that have fullsizes around me that are running to the dealer and to the speed shops for tranny coolers.
