Default Thinking about a 35 shot

Lately Ive been thinking about adding a 35 shot on the truck to give me a little bit of an edge. It seems like a lot of other people are thinking about it too.

The only thing im not sure about is where should I spray it? I was thinking about maybe spraying through the intercooler, how much would that really help me? Or should I just spray right into the motor?

Is anyone spraying through the intercooler?

Thanks

I did not know you could spray just a 35 shot.If it can be done please let know, cause I would like to spray a little juice in my truck but I dont want to go with a 100 shot.A 35 shot would be just perfect for me

they make them just about as small as you want. If you wanted to, I think NOS makes a nozzle that would only be like a 10hp shot or something like that, those small ones are intended for like a direct port setup, but they all are the same.

The main reason im doing it is to help keep the IATs down, but Im not sure what would help me out the most

Well would you spray that 35hp all the time when running someone? Like from the stall flash through your shift points?

If it were my truck, I'd spray like a 75-100hp shot until your desired boost level is there like 8psi let's say or like 3000rpm-4400rpm or so...

Make sense? It's almos 4am!

Yeah, I'd hit it with enough to make a hard 60' start, then have it shut off at 4500 rpms or so.

you will want to spray after the intercooler, not before. you want the hotest air going thru the intercooler so you get the most heat pulled out of it. then spray it right as it goes into the intake and get it even cooler.

i am with the other guys, if you can hook go with a 100shot from 2000rpm up to 4000 or 4500rpm,

i am going to set up a 2 stage for my truck, something like a 75shot from 2000-4500 and a 50shot from 2000 on up. so a 125 out of the hole basicly and the 50shot the entire run. i am also going to drop my boost right down to what ever level it just maxes the maf. the other night when it was cool out i maxed it from 5400 on up.

I wonder if the MAF readings will be lower with wet spraying boost like it is on spraying N/A.

35hp shot will prob help you more than hurt you (as far as durability).

I know a lot of people spraying nitrous as an intercooler.

If you sprayed after the intercooler how would you tune to maintain adequate fuel for it?? You would have to use a wet kit right?? I will be using a SMC kit and a dry kit so I guess the MAF should compensate for it. The injectors should be fine (42lb). Wow, 100 shot??!! You guys are serious. My friends think Im going to literally blow the truck up with a 50 shot out of the hole. With the centrifugal blower, what RPM setting would you use for the window switch??? Nevermind, missed Parish8's response. Thanks
What kind of differences are you guys seeing in IAT's??
