Default Thinkin' about swappin' heads/cam again....

I'm thinking about swappin' the heads and cam again this spring.....the VHP 044 has been VERY good to me but I'm looking to go all out this time while still keeping the truck street driveable and NA (for now). Here's my thoughts on the heads and cam...and a few other misc. parts

* Patriot #2035 Stage III LS6 heads with 2.08"/1.60" Valves and 68cc chamber

* Thunder Racing TR227/224-114 (227º/224º .569/.563 114 Reverse Split)

* Yank TT3000HD converter

* FAST intake and fuel rails

* 42# injectors (compatible with FAST rails)

* ARP rod bolts and head studs

This combo ought to get me about as powerful as I can achieve with stock displacement and NA while still keep it daily driveable....I had thought about going even bigger on the cam but I still need to be able to drive it 100% reliably. When I finally go FI I'll have to swap the cam again and get bigger injectors but everything else should work pretty well either way.

Let me know what you think !!

Sounds interesting... Not too many of the truck guys running around with reverse splits.

Since you posted you are thinking about a new package,let us help you spend your money.How about this "bang for the buck" Sell your longblock just the way it is $?
Get this 408https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=438901
Those partiot heads,new cam,injectors,you may not need a stall and your truck intake works pretty well ,just ask Parish.

moregrip: Shorties, stock crossover, Magnaflow DI/DO with dumps....remember my Dynatech clusterf*ck, I'm waiting to see if anyone has good luck with the Pasesetter LT's before I screw that pooch again.

gonzo 6.0: I'm trying to stay stock displacement.....I'll consider the stroker though because that's a good price. IF I go with a stroker a 421 would be my CID of choice but a 408 would certainly move right along as well
