I added a 180 Hypertech - My gauge sits just a tick under
210 - I burped it 4 times til the lower hose was hot - I got concerned and called Hypertech - they stated that is the results they got - they stated it is a gauge error - they stated that they confered with GM - nothing could be done - I ordered a autometer gauge and will monitor the temp - Hypertech stated I would get a correct reading with an a/m gauge - FYI - whatever this is worth - Let you know - I ordered the gauge today

Take your truck in and have them replace the guage, if its an 03, it should be taken care of under warranty.
My stock guage works fine and reads 180 consistantly at highway speeds and regular driving in town.
The only time it gets up near 210 is when it sits in a parking lot running, Taco Bell Drive Thru, or after a few hard runs.

Chingon, mine stays at 180 with the A/C on. Only when I was at the track for like an hour sitting in the truck with the A/C on, cause it was hot and someone spilled oil on the track, then it got to about 200 degrees. But when driving it sits at 180. I did add a bottle of water wetter also, so that might be the difference. The Hypertech turns off the fuel enrichment when running a cooler thermostat. The Predator does the same thing, but you don't have to set it. The truck would normally run rich, if the vehicle was running much cooler, cause the computer would think that it was still warming up. I have noticed on mine, that I get a puff of black smoke when flooring it, if I haven't gotten on it for a short while. So mine might be running a little rich, but I was assured by DiabloSport that the Predator is tuned for cooler thermos.

Well, like I said, it's always at 180 even when I'm just sitting there with it on and after hard runs...180. Only when I turn on the A/C, it gradually gets up to 200. I don't know what is "normal" since everyone has different results.
Mac claims his is always at 180 no matter what, I think maybe his gauges are wrong, I know his speedo is at least...
