Is there a way for me to get in the low 14s in the 1/4?

When I went to the track a month or so ago, my best time was a 15.78.
After I get my cam (208/216), ASP Crank Pulley, Headers, and Predator Programmer installed; I think I should be around at least 14.9-15.2.
When I get my predator I plan to put my shift points at at least 5800 and my rev limiter to 6000.
Hopefully this summer, I can get:
Perma-Cool Electric Fans
Stall Converter (2800-3000)
Eaton w/3.73 or 4.10
Drag Radials or MT ET Streets
All that has to get me close to 14.0-14.3

i think you'll do a lot better than 14.9. i am doing that right now and i don't have a cam. i plan on getting a torque converter one of these days and hopefully that will take off half a second.
what kind of headers are you planning on getting? i bet with long tubes, cam, and tq converter you'll be high 13's. i don't know much about that cam but i know that people are getting around 40-50hp gain with the 212/218 cam.

Phatchevy: I'm gonna try LaPole headers(midlength)
SleekSilverado: On this cam you at least have to change the valve springs for the higher lift. I think that you would have to change the pushrods, but I plan on reving a little higher than the stock setting. The cam is a Crane Cam 208/216---- .530/.530lift----113LSA. With this cam it can run on stock tuning, but I plan to get everything dyno tuned sooner or later.
whitt1: thanks for the recommendation, but I think I'm gonna stay away from nitrous. I wish I could afford the new intercooled magnacharger. Great times by the way!!!

If I was going with the Crane cam you are talking about I would consider running LS6 valvesprings they are rated for that much lift, cheaper and more durable.Spend the money you save on valvesprings and buy some ASM headers. You would about 10hp better for about the same money.
