I love my truck, and it's not even that fast (especially since the trans is blown lol). Just the other day the guy working the Dunkin Donuts drive thru was drooling and complimenting on how cool is was to see a hopped up truck as opposed to a car...and yea, it's a piece of cake to work on too. My 71 Camaro and 85 Monte weren't exactly hard to work on though...I could get the trans out of those cars in 20 minutes. Not looking forward to humping this transfer case when the time comes

A truck offers so much more than an fbody could in my opinion. Honestly, the fbodies are pieces of ****. They're a poor man's corvette and it shows. Of course I'd own one, but only for what's under the hood.
Now think about how much you can do with a truck. There are suspension threads, engine threads, audio threads, body work threads every single day.
We have about as many options(to an extent) as the car guys do for engine mods(just about everything swaps)
We have way more suspension options than they will ever have
We have way more exterior customization options than they will ever have
We don't all just put on Weld Prostars
We have room for big audio systems
We can climb inside our engine bay
We can haul a shitload of stuff
You can actually fit in your truck if you're bigger than 5'9" 175
Sure it takes more to make a truck fast, but if you have the cash up front, you can still build a truck that runs 11s for a pretty reasonable amount of money. That's fast even for an ls1 car

You can't put 12 ***** in the back of a F-body.
I'd honestly rather have a F-body, but having a fast truck puts you in a different league. Look at how popular Parish is for example compared to low 10 second F-bodies.. almost everyone who talks to me at the track mentions Parish, and half these hillbillies don't even have the internet.

It's priceless beating a z06 on the street in a big heavy truck. Thats why I did it. But, I'm tired of spending so much money and still not that fast, thats why I'm selling the truck in favor of a f-body.
