Default Are there any Street Legal LT Headers?

i'm looking for some smog legal long tubes for my truck. 2004 silverado 5.3L. i was looking at the ASM LTs because you can use your stock y pipe and cats. i'm in massachusetts, so it wouldnt need to pass the wicked strict CA laws. thanks for any help.

i had a question man, what other mods have u done?

as far as i know, longtube headers are completely street legal, i have pacesetter long tubes and just passed inspection with no problem, u just need cats to be "street legal" im in texas, and thats how it works around here. shouldnt give u a problem.

right now the only other mods i have are a free flowing exhaust. air intake is on the way. tune is coming soon after that as well.

did you have to get a y pipe custom bent to fit the pacesetters?

nevermind, just noticed you got true duals set up.

States that have adopted CA emmision standards prohibit LT's. Doesn't matter if you can pass the sniffer, you'll fail the visual.
Mass has some screwed up laws too, better check around your area.

Pacesetter makes an ORY that goes with their headers and bolts up to the cat-back, which doesn't do you much good if you're trying to stay legal.

I have doug's headers with my stock y pipe modified to fit them. Let me know if you have questions. I know mine are not as long as the pacesetters more like a mid to long tube header, but I still can get you a picture or something.
