Default Thank's for the welcome A few questions

I am very enthused about making my truck faster,, I have been a member of a few other forums for a few months now and have been Planning my mod's for when the money comes. However I have a few questions about my plans and would like some opinion's.

First of all I will tell you what the truck has and what it has run in the past.

Only current Mod: Airaid Filter kit

Best run at track 1/4 17.9 e.t Race weight estimated at 6200 lbs
Dyno number's at 92 degress w/45% humidity
Tire's 285/75/r16
Max power = 236.62 RWHP
Max Torque = 303.65 RWTQ
Max Rpm = 4.94 RPM X 1000

I must say I was very depressed after the track run's Imo there shouldn't be a 496 BB That can't break 15's in the 1/4 stock or not but thnks to TM There is.

Also must say I was depressed about the dyno numbers, however I was the very first truck to ever be dyno'd at the dyno I went to or maybe the second so it could have not been set up completly right, no knock on the owners but I now these things take some tinkering to get them dialed in before they produce accuarate numbers. However since I was the first it was done for free thank's to Butch and one of my friends chico at Alabama Pro Performance Here in Montgomery, Great group of guys down their, I will most definatetly do more business with those guys.

Back to the topic

My future mods hopefully being ordered with Christmas Money
Nelson's or Wester's Tune (Leaning toward's the nelson tune)
Gibson Stainless Dual Extreme Split rear exhaust
Denso Iridium plugs
AEP-JBA 8mm Spark plug wires

all total around $1,200 in mods

what do you guy's think of the listed mods?
How much should these mod's reduce my times at the track?


Of course after these mods and the truck is paid for I must do a supercharger, Tranny rebuilt much stronger, Cam and maybe heads
But until she's paid for these will wait.

ditch the plugs the stock ones will work for now and the wires no need for em if you are wanting a tune just get whatever one you think is best there is way too much info from way too many different sources so read up and get what you think is gonna work (as i say ditch the plugs if still that stock you wont need em)
