Tell me what you think?

How does this sound to some of you?
LS1 shortblock
offset ground stock LS1 crank
slight overbore on cylinders
(bring it around a 356 ci motor or so, from what I was told with some brief specs)
some nice forged pistons
drop on the truck intake
some 5.3L heads with a mild port job and chamber work.
then a cam to match everything
Then not to leave out a good size N20 shot on a progressive controller.
combine that motor with the average bolt ons...
ASM headers
ASP pulley
and this and that
Yank 3000 (want to sell the 3200) anyone want it?
then get some computer tuning done by Ed Wright
and a transmition build up.
I would think that this could be a very nice setup. I belive the bolt ons and transmition will end up costing me more than getting the motor built and dropped in. But I can do the motor and then work on the other things as time goes by. Just need the converter and the pulley first. to make things easier.

I like it. It sounds similar to what I'm gonna try with my old motor. I need to get the old set of heads done soon. I'm gonna try a 383 stroker kit on the 5.3 block and try pistons to match or bore to a full 383. I already have the bolt-ons.

I did have just about everything but exhaust....then I sold it all! Now I'm getting the funds up and a spot to store all the new toys once they are ready to go on the truck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
