Default Tell me what I need

I have a 98 XCSB Chevy pickup. I picked it up a few months ago and would like to start modding it. It has the tow package and I believe 4.10's. It raps around 21-2200 at 70 on the highway.

I want to do an exhaust for sure and a CAI but would also like to get some better gas mileage.

I've been reading up a little and doing some searches and people have listed these mods.

CAI
headers
cat back
electric fans
tune
TB spacer

Does that sound good?? I am also thinking about putting nitrous on it down the road just to have it. I will admit, I'm addicted to that stuff. I have it on my bird, my harley, and my quad.

Also, anyone have any recommendations on brands of this stuff?

Most prefer Outlaw and Volant intakes, because they draw air from outside the engine bay. There's a few brands of headers, Pacesetter probably makes a set for the 5.7, their the cheapest and tons of people have them, but I've never heard anything good about their coating, reguardless I'm picking up a set soon. Cat backs are cat backs, Borla Magnaflow Corsa are good and stainless steel, Flowmaster is controversial and gets peoples panties in a bundle.. I've heard TB spacers make gains on TBI's, but I haven't researched them.

I have pacesetters on the bird and love them. If they make them for my truck I might get them. I found this intake on ebay. What do you think?

It is sealed and looks like it brings in air from theoutside.
