You got screwed! I remember you more now. You had a few K saved up for the truck. Awsome job on moving up. I came in as an E-1, and in 8 months i made E-4. I made E-5 at my 1.5 year mark, but my temper got the best of me, and i kinda hurt a Senior Chief
. If i could go back id do it again though. He was a POS! Anyway, now im back at E-4, and thats OK with me.

Actually, the SC said some things he shouldnt have, so i punched him in his mouth and went to town on him. The CO just threw out my E-5 test, and nothing went in my record. Its like i never got in trouble, so it wouldnt follow me to another command. The CO said he probibly would have done the same thing i did, but he cant condone my behavior. He was pretty cool about it i think.

Yeah you can get it stalled to your application, it's pretty sweet. Remember stall is based off input torque mainly as well as vehicle speicifics like blowers, nitrous, compression, weight, etc. You have your choice of stall from like ~2400-4400+
Also PI can build you a multiclutch unit for an additional $300 or so that will be about 2.3X (somewhere like that, I just woke up from a nap so info may be skewed) the OE lockup clutch capacity. So you'll have about $700 into a converter that's brand new and just like the ones Yank says you can tow 7000lbs with in a 10" converter! LOL.
You may be able to have the lockup capacity to tow 7000lbs but the heat generated will be insane with the small case. I would tow NO MORE THAN 2-3000lbs with a 9-10" multiclutch converter that's with a huge cooler and a gauge to keep an eye on temps.

Does this mean that when I put the vortech on my truck that my PI 2800 will stall higher?? That would be great!! I was thinking about sending it back to have it restalled at 3200, but I didnt want to have to pay install 2 more times and have to drive around with the stock converter for however long it takes.

Probably not as it makes boost according to RPM vs all at once like a roots/twin screw. At 2800rpms it's not going to be enough to really make the input torque much higher as you'll be around 2-4psi at best.
I'd get it restalled now while the vehicle is down.
