TBSS manifold/TB questions
i have an 06 5.3 flex fuel. would i still need to modify the fuel rail or injectors, or can i just swap them over? i saw in another recent thread that someone used a FF rail
is there an adapter that i can put on to use the TBSS manifold, but keep the stock size TB? i know it seems like it would be a waste, but im wanting to wrench on something, and i wouldnt mind spending the time (not the money) to see if i gain anything at all from it. i already have the manifold i bought a while back.

I know the truck TB is a 3 bolt flange and the TBSS is a 4 bolt flange. The adaptor would be truely unique and would have to cut the bolts I would imagine since the adaptor would bolt to the intake and the TB bolt to the adaptor itself. Without efans I would think clearence between the engine driven fan shroud and fan would be tough. Just my thoughts. I bought a complete TBSS intake, Dr. X harness, and the pigtails to splice the injectors to my truck wiring. Of course I would have to have the tune corrected for the intake added volume and different fuel injectors.

i initially wanted to do the 90mm setup, but after talking to a few guys who know their stuff, they suggested i stick with the smaller TB for velocity over volume. the 90mm would be well suited for the 6.0 or larger. this makes sense to me.
i thought someone mentioned there was an adapter somewhere
has anyone noticed gains from a 90mm on a 5.3?
