You are going to spend a bare minimum of 400 bucks on the intake swap by the time you get xlink. And that's hoping you can find a deal like I did. $200 for the complete intake, including injectors, throttle body, and fuel rails.
You will also need injector adapters so add another 100 bucks.
Now you are at least $500 into the swap. May as well find a 5.3 short block

Yeah I'm past the intake now. The investment vs. output just isn't worth it. I'm just going to put the money towards a nice tune. The cam is going in this weekend and I doubt its going to drive nice without a tune.
