Default TBSS intake swap fuel pressure question?

I have all the parts to swap the TBSS Intake on my 03 4.8 1500, using the stock injectors.
Question is do I have to be tuned to run the 33737 corvette filter?
I am not planning to get a tune for a while, cam comes first.
Been thinking about running a performance return style regulator and adjusting it to the stock pressure.
Has anyone run a external regulator on this swap?

You wouldn't want to install the intake if you can't tune it right away, I wouldn't beat on it that's for sure. The different design and different amounts of airflow it can flow at any given time over your stock intake requires tuning.

I'd just run a regular filter and use a regular regulator to keep the pressure at 58psi.
