Default TBSS intake with return style fuel system

I got a new tbss intake and have a couple questions about the fuel rail setup. I am probably going to stick with stock 78mm tb for now. I want the intake to look clean and factory, and I'm wondering if anyone here has made the lq4 fuel rails work on the tbss? I have read a couple threads where people have done it but there is not a lot of info. I know I would need to extend the crossover pipe and rig up some sort of spacers for the rails. The main reason I want to use these rails is to retain the return style system on my truck. The corvette filter looks pretty bad imo, and am hoping I can come up with another solution to avoid using that.

Another idea - use tbss rails and change the fuel pump to an 05-06 truck pump which is returnless I believe. However, I'm not sure if this fuel pump would be plug and play. Does anyone have any input on either of these ideas? Thanks

Why not just remote mount the vette filter on the firewall?

Also there is a writeup on here for converting to the 04-07 pump.

Yeah, this has been covered.

First thing is why bother if you're only going to use the stock 78mm TB? You want to change the fuel system, for no increase in air?

Extend the crossover tube by welding or cutting it and adding in fittings.
ictbillet.com has the spacers.

I'm building the engine right now and plan to throw on the 78 mm just to test start it and use for awhile. I would likely upgrade in the future. The only reason I would consider swapping to returnless is because it would be plug and play into the tbss rails and overall be way cleaner. That is if the returnless fuel pump would actually fit in my application

Mount the Corvette filter in the stock location under the truck. Cut both the hard feed and return lines and use Earl unions for 6 AN fittings to use quick connects to the Corvette's filter inlet. On the outlet run a single braided line down the frame and up to the TBSS fuel rail.

Earl 5/16 & 3/8 union part numbers

This sounds like a great plan! This will just help keep the engine bay nice and tidy. Which side of the filter uses the 5/16" and which uses the 3/8" (just so I know how many of each to order)?
