Default TBSS intake manifold on an 03 SS?

I know this is probably a question that is always asked and I do apologize because I have done alot of research. I have an 03 SSS that I just purchased a bare TBSS intake manifold with 90mm tb for. From what I have gathered I will need an X link and corvette fuel filter to make it work.

The part that confuses me is the fuel rail? I know I can reuse my stock one with spacers and making a new crossover with AN fittings and braided line. I have also read about people using the TBSS rail with no complications. Will my SSS injectors swap onto the TBSS rail with no mods and work with no problem? Does it have to be a rail off of a TB? I am ultimately looking for the easiest and cleanest looking swap that will get the job done.

This is the best reference to go by

I'm assuming ur truck is drive by wire because u said ur going to get the Xlink . If your going to leave the cam and heads alone then I've heard of guys getting away with stock injectors. But u a will most likely get the Mod bug and want to do more and then u will need bigger injectors. So It might be a good Idea to upgrade ur injectors now. And last but not least u will need a tune or retune

Huh?^^^^^~ Xlink is for drive by wire the opposite of drive by cable and if he has drive by wire his throttle body is a 6 pin connector and the new 87 mm throttle body that is needed for a the TBSS intake is a 8 pin connector so YES if his setup is drive by wire( meaning electronically controled ) then YES he needs a Xlink

My injectors on my 05 Silverado (not flex fuel) swapped directly to the tbss intake and fuel rail with no spacers needed.

05 is different in that it had a returnless fuel rail also. I have an 03 and I'm not sure what fuel rail to use to look the cleanest and easiest to install.

Check out that link I posted it will show a good option for return style and there are other links that if u want to use the TBSS fuel rail u can use a corvette fuel regulator to make it return style but u would have to have it tuned for that

If your 03 ss is not s flex fuel then the injectors will swap to the tbss fuel rail with no spacers. Use a vette fuel filter to use the returnless fuel rail.
