Default tbss intake and 90mm tb

Would it be benificial on just a bolt on motor to get the bigger intake and 90mm for just a bolt on 5.3? Would there be any gains/loses to it? If any gains would it be worth the money to do it?

its been argued over a few times and no one has any evidence either way. it is the stock set-up on the nnbs trucks though.

garrett, PM me if you're interested in one. I recently bought a TBSS intake but I've decided to go another way.

Actually, I've never run my truck at the track. But as noted above, from 60-90MPH my truck was .5 seconds faster with a horse **** tune.

Did you notice any low end loss or anything? I'm trying to decide if the gains/losses will be worth the money to do the swap? What all is needed I know the harness for the tb, tb, and intake. But what about injectors does it use the same ones? I'm not yet ready to upgrade injectors and prolly won't ever be on this motor

Absolutely no loss of lowend whatsoever, if anything there's more. Just the complete intake manifold, you reuse your injectors of choice
