Default Re: tb what are the different kinds?

BBK is the only aftermarket supplier of a TB for the LS based motors. Their's is a 80mm and seems to have a small percentage of owners who have used them trouble-free. This unit is a direct bolt-on for the cars but the TB coolant tubes are not oriented for the trucks (their also may be a throttle linkage issue dependant on the year of you vehicle) Most have opted for a modified stock unit...the gains are in the 75-100 cfm on average and modified motors have seen 5-10 RWHP from these.

For the cost difference the ported/polished units are the way to go.
