A few months ago, i ported and polished my TB. Yesterday I did the TB bumpstop grind to 4.69v. To my suprise there was a huge difference in Throttle response. In your opinions, what kind of power increase do you think i got with the TB mod w/the s/c. has anyone dynoed our trucks with just the tb grind. What power increase is it worth on a N/A motor. I pulls a hell of alot more in the high RPMS

I did it about a week ago and I could really tell. One of the best free mods. I can't believe you went all the way to 4.69 though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> I stopped at like 4.63 because I'm a wuss.

bumpstop grind? it voids the warranty right? cuz warranty voiding is a bitch. i have the small shift shudder on the 1-2 shift. called the dealership and they said they'd fix it free under warranty but of course i have to re-do my throttle body bypass. i'm just gunna leave it this time and live without the extra .4 horsepower it gave me.
