Default Just got a new truck.

I just got a 99 Z71 GMC Sierra, extended cab short bed and i love it. I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have to keep it pretty much stock exept for a few small things since I can't keep from spending all my money on my 87 GN(wiped a cam and its costly) and the fact that I started college and need it to be reliable. I would like to know what is the best way to get a noticable difference in the lowend torque, without a stall convertor or change of gears??? I like the pull past 3000 rpm but below it doesn't have much. I know its heavy and all. I know the truck is running right, it runs just like my dads 2001 z71 and I tuned it up this past weekend. It has the 3.42s i think. What code can I check? Thanks a lot

You can put a UPD air intake, look toward the top of this page for the little banner and also put a performance muffler on there. I would think all Z71s have 3.73s but not really sure.
