Default In Tank High Capacity Pump

I started a thread on this the other day and got some info on inline units, I would really like an intank pump. Here is the story: I recently dumped the Procharger FMU and went w/ 43lb injectors, and tuned accordingly (see sig for all mods). Now I am losing fuel pressure in the last few hundred RPM before the shifts, (shifts are set at stock right now, but I plan to up them a few hundred RPM in the near future) pressure drops from 60 to 50-52, and there is a little noise from under the hood, (maybe some detonation, or injector noise from running out of fuel?) Anyway I am currently running the inline aux pump that came with the Procharger, but I have a feeling it is designed for high pressure not high volume, (verified it is running, and changed the inline filter already). I am sure I'm going lean and will just get worse if I up the shift points. I want an intank unit but can only find this one (part number 30-7032) is this the one I want? It's too late to call tonight. Anybody have any other sources they could point me to? I didn't have much luck using the search feature. Thanks

I'd suggest the Walbro 255 w/ some high flow fuel rails. I'm running this pump on my 427 w/ 42# bosch injectors. The pump is supposed to be good to about 650HP I believe. It's a universal pump that will require some modification to run. Don't be scared by that though, the modification is minimal. Good luck.

I think you're pump may be bad, or not working. I still have the inline that came with the procharger, and it's feeding my engine fine. I'm maxing my MAF (600 hp) at around 5600 rpm in the cool weather.

I had the same thing happen once, and thought the pump was working, but it was just picking up vibration from the intank pump. Turns out I had a bad ground.

Also, have you had it on a wideband yet with the new tune? It's possible that it's tuned so rich and dumping so much fuel that you're maxing out the pump when you don't need to be.
