is that too small of a cam for me? i have been on the look out for cam that isn't huge that might work good with some stage 1+ heads and 6-10lb's of whipple on a 6.0. i do some towing, probably 2000+miles worth a year so i want to keep whatever cam i go with a little on the small side but is this one even worth the hastle of changing?
i am really lost on the entire cam thing, no idea what would be good for me. realistacly i will probably go with some mild heads, beef up the botom end and spray it if the whipple doesn't give me enuff power. so if thats not the cam for me what would be some good numbers?

i think considering the size of your truck a 212/218 cam would be really nice. You don't really want to go too big. With some stage 1 heads it should work out pretty well
i was actually looking at snatching up that cam but then i found out that the damn bank is holding the check i deposited for 5 bus days .
check your pms

Honestly, thats probably a good cam for you. I have one just like it in my garage.
Offer him $225 shipped. I have a set of LS6 springs I'll send you that will work just fine with that cam. Let me know.

Hey Parish.
i have this comp cam in my 6.0 If i had it do do over again i would go with a bit less duration and a bunch more lift. Like
208/216 550 and 114LC something in this range with the recommended valve springs. The cam that i have took slightly drilling the TB and ED wright raise the idle 50 rpm for near stock driveability. The specs i gave you would give you more power and stock driveability
