The plastic on the clear and smoke UPD will not handle the gas over time. You can on a dry shot, but we are talking about a wet kit here.

what if its sprayed (wet) from the top or something directly into the tb? It wouldnt touch much of the upd then, or is it still enough to mess it up?

I had one. It was custom billet aluminum about 3/4" thick w/o the swirly inside. It was tapped and threaded for a normal blue NX shark nozzle. Very slick.

Unfortunately I didn't need it, so I sold it. Actually sent it off to "Y2K Silverado" a few months back. Jim didn't need the nitrous hole, he just wanted to test out a throttle body spacer. Check with him, he will probably sell it.

I have a buddy that works for a metal manufacturing plant. He used to run the laser cutters but now he programs and takes orders. They are pretty much a big time company and make all kinds of stuff, some of it for the auto industry so large runs would be preferable. I referred a co-worker of mine to him to have some one off billet grille inserts made for his 98 Grand Prix GTP which turned out great by the way. I should talk to him and see what kind of pricing would be involved in getting a batch of nitrous TB spacers made without swirls and with nozzle holes drilled and tapped. It seems that many of you guys want one and nobody really offers them seperately.

You think that there may be a reason none of the nitrous co. offer one? If you spray that close into the intake, wouldnt you risk getting uneven cylinder distribution? With the exit pressure of the nozzle, it would tend to force itself to the back of the intake instead of getting carried with the natural airflow. Any opinions on this??

Good thought bigkid, yet look at the tnt powerring for the fbodys.... i think they do it with a wider spray with 2 nozzles.... that may be how they keep it from being uneven.
