but wait a minute. isnt a quickey tune with no logging the same as a mail order tune??? seems to me the only thing missing was the postage stamp. a mail order tune is going to net great performance. it might not be perfect but it will be darn close. i agree that an in person tune will get it dead on but i also believe that a mail order is very close and sometimes dead on.

Agreed, my point is that I saw great results with even the quicky tune. Doing a full tune like we have done many times on my Z71 was great. I just didn't realize the difference it could make on a stock truck is all. In my case I didnt need to make changes but what if it wasn't shifting right? I could have easily said, hey Rick, fix this and been on my way the same night.

Like i stated before I know too many people that were not happy with their mail order tunes and the process of swapping PCMs over and over to get it right. This just gives local people a better alternative.
