Default swapping throttle bodies...

i have been looking around for a V8 to swap out with my V6 and i keep finding a lot of 03-06 models engines with DBW...my question is if i was to buy an 03-06 engine with DBW throttle body and could i swap out the throttle body from an engine that uses a cable driven throttle body??

throttle body swaps right over. only thinks that I had to change was

A) remove the tube nipple on the intake for the top hose in this picture. My 07 intake had that nipple on the intake, not on the TB like the one shown in the picture.
B) get two M6 threaded inserts from lowes to insert into the top of the intake for the throttle cable mounting bracket (back of the intake in the 2nd picture) (they were a rubber grommet insert that I removed the rubber from and JB welded it into the bosses that are in the intake,
C) you'll may have to swap drivers' side fuel rail depending on what your current fueling setup is.

Really not that bad.

from a V6 ot a V8 not sure. I know from my 4.8 to 6.0 the iac and TPS were the same plugs. Here is the writeup on what I did.
