Instead of sending these 5.3 heads off to get worked on, i decided on doing a 6.0 swap since my buddy in need of a 5.3 for his s10 project. Since the 6.0 will be on the engine stand out of truck i'm gonna clean it up and re-gasket it since its out.

I'm wanting to go ahead and slap on a pair of P&P heads, should i go 243s or keep the 317s? What company has some good flowing numbers with their heads?

 

milled 243s. get a set of 243s, and take them over to westside machine in houston. talk to clete or jeff, very reasonable, plus they are here in town

 

Yeah i know jeff, my dad does business with them..... i went to go talk to them the other day. but i've never heard of any of these heads coming from them. Don't know what there flow #'s would be.
