swaping Engine help

Default swaping Engine help

HI all
I new in this forum , I need some help please , my young brother I have a 2001 Silerado 1500 , He swap the engine with a 6.0L engine from 2009 HD Truck , he has bought the engine with the same 6speed trans , ECM , BCM , the electric acceleration foot panel & the 6 speed gear handle for the same 09 truck also we have the harness for it , we fit the engine & the transmission in to the vehicle , we able to crank it but it will not fire up to start it , so any help guys ?

Did you replace ALL of the wiring and modules in the 2001 truck with those from the 2009? They are different generations of communications systems and will not talk to each other if mixed.

crank relearn mite be needed, getting spark and fuel ? passkey/VATS off ?
