Default Swap V6--->V8?

Is it possible to swap the V6 out of an 03 RCSB truck and put in a 6.0L LQ9? What parts will needed to swap out?

im finally picking up my '93 rcsb w/ a v-6 that this guy gave me and i will be building it up also soon...

yeah, a lot of guys have done it. not too sure on what all you'd need for the swap. new tranny, new ecu, etc.

Not gonna be easy. Unless you have some badass fabrication skills, it is too much of a chore. you are gonna have to remount the motor mounts and basically have a bunch of little tedious crap that would really suck. If i were you i would just go and trade that truck in for a 4.8 and then drop the LQ9 in that. It would be much more simple...plug and play!

yeah! what he said! and don't even think of swapping in a 5.7 where that 4.3 sat! that's just crazy..it'll never work!
