Default Swap Questions? 5.3 to 6.0

OK Guys,

I have finally pulled the 5.3 from my truck. After 2 weeks of soaking the bolts n the collectors and many attempts trying to disconnect the motor from the trans it's out. I called the guy at the salvage yard and my 2004 6.0 with 5,500 miles is waiting for me. I will be picking it up tomorrow around 1PM and my goal is to have it in by the weekend. I also want to detail the engine compartment while the motor is out. My question is what problem am I going to run into. So far I have the following.

1. Oil sender unit might have different connectors.
Fix = using the one from the 5.3
2. 04's have returnless fuel system
Fix = using the intake off the 5.3
3. I was told there will be a crank spacer that will need to be removed so the engine can mate to the 4L60e? Does anyone know about this?
4. The waterpump neck might be different I have also heard? Does anyone know about this?

And anything else you guys can think of is greatly appreciated.

4. The waterpump neck might be different I have also heard? Does anyone know about this? The necks should be the same. The difference is in the thermostat. The older model years use a 1 piece thermostat and housing, where the newer ones use a separate thermostat and housing. Personally, I would make the switch to the newer water pump because it should have lower miles than yours, and if you ever need to replace the t-stat, it is cheaper, but that decision is up to you. Both pumps will work fine
